Chihuahuas, unlike poodles, shed easily. Poodles don't shed easily, so owners need to have their fur cut at a pet salon. Chihuahuas shed, so there is no need to go to a grooming salon to have their fur cut.

I am a long-coated Chihuahua.
Long-coated Chihuahuas have a double coat, which means we have two layers of fur: an overcoat and an undercoat. Therefore, we shed a lot, so owners need to clean up frequently.

So, to clean up the shed fur, Mom bought a cleaning robot, Roomba.

Speaking of dog fur, I wonder if Chihuahua/Poodle crossbreeds (Chi-Poodles) shed a lot or not.
About 70% of Chi-Poodles inherit the fur quality of Toy Poodles, so it is said that many Chi-Poodles shed less fur. However, if the parent Chihuahua is long-coated, it is said that they shed more fur.
