This time, I’ll introduce the upstream portion from the central bridge.
If you go upstream from the central bridge, the waterway passes under Route 354.
If you go further, there is a bridge upstream. From there, you can see the road bridge of Fukuoka Zeki.
After crossing the upstream bridge, there is Fukuoka Zeki Sakura Park and a parking lot.
If you go further upstream from Fukuoka Zeki on the embankment of the Kokai River, you will find Ina Shrine(伊奈神社).
There were people enjoying water sports around the downstream bridge, but there were many families around the upstream bridge and Fukuoka Zeki Sakura Park.
There were more cherry-blossom viewers on the upstream side than on the downstream side.
When I went there, I wore a pink Cinderella dress, which was very well received by the cherry blossom viewing crowd.
A middle-aged woman looked at me and said, "Oh, the dog is wearing a dress."
A young man looked at me and exclaimed, "The dog is dressed up."
When I was crossing the upstream bridge, a kindergarten-aged girl said to her mother, "Mom, there is a doggie princess!"
When I heard their compliments, I felt happy.
From now on, I’d like Dad to change the title of this diary from "Ms. Merci's Diary" to "Princess Merci's Diary".
