文字数 1,519文字

Dangozaka (談合坂) Service Area is on the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道).

When Dad said, "We’re going to stop by Dangozaka Service Area," I was half asleep and wondered, "Will I be able to eat dango (団子,dumpling)?"

Dangozaka SA has a dog run both on the inbound and outbound SAs, which is very dog-friendly, so I’ll introduce it.

The outbound service area had the most dogs of any service area I've ever visited.

① We’ve arrived at the Dangozaka Service Area (outbound). There are a great number of terrace seats in front of the building. About 70% of the available seating was occupied by dogs. There is a dog run in the back right.

② These are the terrace seats in front of Starbucks.

③ There are many dogs in the SA. I didn't notice the rear Labrador retriever and Maltipoo (maltese-toy poodle mix).

④ I finally noticed the Labrador retriever that passed behind me. I rushed after it.

⑤ I am in front of the dog run. It’s a little disappointing that the dog run is made of artificial turf.

⑥ We arrived at Dangozaka Service Area (inbound). I’m sitting on the terrace, waiting for lunch.

⑦ Swallows are building a nest on the surveillance camera.

⑧ I’ve come in front of the park on the service area.

⑨ This park has a dog run. No dogs are here. The outbound dog run was disappointing with artificial turf, but this inbound dog run has weeds instead of natural grass.

⑩ I'm enjoying occupying the dog run.

⑪ I'm enjoying the dog run.

⑫ The sun is scorching, so it's time to get back to the car.
