（１０） Ｗａｌｋｉｎｇ ｐａｒｋｓ

Ms. Merci is taken for a walk twice a day if the weather is nice. Most of the walking courses are around our house, but I get tired of walking the same route all the time, so Mom and Dad change the route half the time depending on the day.
Even human beings who are studying the discipline of philosophy seem to like taking a walk every day. A famous teacher, Immamuel Kant, seems to have taken the same course every day like clockwork. But that's unbelievable to me. The real thrill of a walk is to encounter an unfamiliar scent. If I come across a nice scent, I don’t care about the walking course and leave it alone.
The other day, there was a dog I took an interest in, so I chased after it. It ran toward Ms. Merci's house. When I chased after it further, I arrived in front of our house, and the walk was over in about a quarter of the usual time! It was a little sad, but it was a walking path I chose, so it can’t be helped. ( ；∀；)
Around our house, there is a children's park with a slide and a medium-sized park that is much larger than the children’s park. These parks are also included in our walking courses. Moreover, there is a promenade that connects the parks. We often use it because the shade of the trees is cool.
However, most of the walking courses are asphalt roads where cars also pass. They are very hot in summer.
In such a case, Dad sometimes drives me to a walking park with a large pond. The park is unpaved except for the parking lot, so it's very comfortable to walk in. The wind blowing over the pond is also cool and comfortable. Ms. Merci loves the walking park.
If you go around the pond, it is about a 2km walk. When I was young, I used to go around the pond, but recently, my physical strength has weakened, and can no longer walk as much as I used to. Still, when it's not too hot, I go around the pond with Dad.
