The first destination of this trip is Lake Nojiri's pleasure boat dock.

The rainy season has ended, so Dad has booked a hotel where dogs can stay and prepared for the trip. However, as the day of the trip approached, the rainy season returned, and the rain started again. In fact, it was raining heavily when we passed Karuizawa on the highway.

Therefore, we chose a pleasure boat for our first sightseeing stop around Lake Nojiri. The pleasure boats have roofs, so you can enjoy sightseeing even in the rain, and we dogs can ride on a pleasure boat if we are on a leash.

Besides our family, there were only two other passengers, so I was able to move around and have a lot of adventures.

Well, looking at the pictures, I don't have a leash. No one cared about the leash because I behaved well.

On the way, we stopped at Biwa Island (commonly known as Benten Island) where Uga Shrine is located. I’ll talk about that next time.

① We bought tickets and waited until the gate opened. You can see a two-story pleasure boat directly behind me. Today, however, there are few customers, so we are going to board the small boat on the left.

② I'm sitting on Mom's lap with good manners.

③ I’m sitting next to Mom.

④ I jumped on the ledge below the window.

⑤ I’m moving forward on the ledge.

⑥ I have a good view on the ledge.

⑦ Looking at the air vent, I’m thinking whether to move forward on the ledge. I'm worried about getting my front leg stuck in the air vent.

⑧ The boat is being steered even though there is no one here. It looks like an unmanned operation. The fact is that there is the exact same cockpit on the deck on the second floor, and now a staff is operating the boat there.

⑨ I am on top of the ledge. The view here is so great.
