Near my house, shibazakura (moss phlox, 芝桜) are in full bloom.

Therefore, Dad thought that the shibazakura in Takasaki Natural Forest must be blooming, so we went to the forest.

The shibazakura hadn’t yet bloomed, but the yukiyanagi (thunberg’s meadow sweet) were in full bloom.

① These yukiyanagi are unbelievably beautiful. That lady over there is taking photos of her dog.

② Now, we will proceed near the yukiyanagi trees.

③ We’ve come near the trees.

④ I imitated that dog and had Dad tie my leash to the stake and take a photo.

⑤ There is only a small amount of yukiyanagi in the photo.

⑥ These are yukiyanagi.

⑦ This is a close-up photo.

⑧ We'll move the location a little and take photos again.

⑨ I like weeds more than yukiyanagi.

⑩ I've started playing with weeds and leaves.

⑪ I really like the area under the yukiyanagi.

⑫ There are some more yukiyanagi trees next to the pavilion.

⑬ I am on a bench.

⑭ Today too, I met the monkey!!

⑮ These weeping cherry blossoms have just begun to bloom.

⑯ We’ve come near the pond. Someone is taking pictures of birds. Now, we'll cross the wooden path.

⑰ There is a brown dog here, and he won't let me pass.

⑱ I'm persuading him.
