In the last chapter, we encountered a Holstein mother and her child in Nasunogahara.

Nasunogahara is an area with no water, and has been cultivated repeatedly since the Meiji era.

Currently, the higher elevations are used as pastures, and the lower elevations are used as paddy fields using dams.

Areas higher than Nasunogahara are forests, and some of them are villa areas, rental villas, and lodge-type hotels.

The hotel we stayed at on this trip was a lodge-type hotel in the forest. As it is a hotel in a spacious forest, there are 3 dog runs.

The smallest dog run is for small dogs and is lit at night. The largest dog run is the lawn dog run. Fortunately, we were able to see the largest dog run from the room where our family stayed, so I was able to use it when no other dog was using it.

The room we stayed in was on the first floor of a two-story lodge. In lodge-type hotels, you can cook and barbecue by yourself, and this room has a fridge and a kitchen. However, we chose a meal plan with meals at the restaurant, so we didn't use the kitchen.

"Where did I eat?"
Well, I’ll talk about the meal next time, and this time I will introduce the room.

①This is the lodge where we stayed. There are four units in one building. This time, we are the only guests.

② I’m examining the crate that is in the room. It says, "When you leave your dog alone in the room, please use it."

③ I'm under the dining table.

④ I finished exploring the room. You can see my dog bed in the top right corner of the photo.

⑤ I'm looking at the dog run from the window.

⑥ This is the largest dog run that can be seen from the window of our room.

⑦ I’m resting on the sofa. The bath towel is provided for use when a dog uses the sofa.

⑧ I'm resting on the sofa. This is my favorite area in the room.

⑨ I'm taking a nap on the sofa.
