"Yasuragi-no-sato Shimotsuma" is a park near Daiho Hachimangu Shrine.

Serving as the southern gateway to Shimotsuma City and as a neighborhood park built for regional revitalization, there are four facilities: the Furusato Exchange Center "Refre Kokai", an agricultural product processing facility, a direct sales store for agricultural products, and a restaurant.

This place looks more like a roadside station than a neighborhood park.
We stopped by on our way home from our New Year's visit.

The park is famous for its beautiful moss phlox and wisteria flowers, but as expected, there were no flowers blooming on New Year's Day.

Yet, there was a nice primula plant at the farmer's market, so Dad bought some to take home.

① To the left is the farmer's market, and to the right is the restaurant.

② I’m taking a walk in the park. You can see the wisteria trellis in the back.

③I’m walking near the playground.

④ Some children are playing. You can see Mt. Tsukuba.

⑤ Dad is taking a commemorative photo of me with Mt. Tsukuba in the background.

⑥ I’m smelling the primula Dad bought.

⑦ I’m holding primula flowers in my mouth.

⑧I think that primula "doesn't seem delicious to eat."
