文字数 1,830文字

Winter illuminations have become popular recently.

The largest illumination in Ibaraki Prefecture is that in Ibaraki Flower Park.

Kasumigaura Comprehensive Park also had an Illumination event (from Dec.1, 2023 to Jan.14, 2024), and this year's illuminations had been upgraded to include 200,000 LEDs, twice as many as last year. This time, Ibaraki Prefecture's traditional features were expressed through illuminations.

So, we went to see the displays.

The last time Dad took pictures of the night view of Flower Park, his skills as a photographer were poor. With the light from the illuminations, he was barely able to take decent pictures.

This time, he brought an electric flash and LED lights, and as the technology improved, he was able to take better photos.
