Mom's friend sent her some photos of the buildings designed by Kengo Kuma in Sakai Town to Mom's smartphone. Kengo Kuma is a popular architect with a design inspired by "Japanese style" using wood. Recently he seems to have concentrated on Sakai Town to build stores. Dad seems to have been interested in Sakai Town because self-driving buses are running there.

So we went there to see the buildings designed by Kengo Kuma and the buses.

When we travel, the important thing is where to eat lunch. Then, we found that there were terrace seats in a restaurant called “Chagura” designed by Kengo Kuma, which was next to a roadside station, so we went there by car.

After taking a walk around the roadside station and having lunch, we drove to “Montenegro Hall” and then returned home.

This is the terrace of "Montenegro Hall". The reason why there is a hole in the wood behind is that the wood of the old Montenegro hall before rebuilding was used.
