“Rest Stop Joso” is the 16th rest stop in Ibaraki Prefecture, which just opened on April 28, 2023.
On May 27, "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Joso Interchange" opened next door.
"Joso Interchange" is an interchange on the Ken Ou Expressway（首都圏中央連絡自動車道) near the rest stop.
The other day we went to "Rest Stop Joso" and "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Joso Interchange".
By the way, TSUTAYA has a mini garden designed with steppe vegetation that looks like something out of a Western movie.
Chihuahua State, in Mexico, where my ancestors lived, is a steppe. Chihuahua is the largest state in Mexico, but most of it is a desert named Chihuahua (Desierto de Chihuahua).
I wondered if my ancestors lived in a place like this mini garden, so I took a walk through it.
