(34) Birds in the walking park

文字数 1,728文字

There are various birds in the walking park. The most numerous birds are sparrows and pigeons. Also, there are sometimes ugly crows. These are regular visitors to the park.

Herons that live in the surrounding rice fields sometimes come to the walking park. But they are always in the pond, so I don't think I can get along with them.

During the migratory season, ducks and swans come. Seagulls are also among the migratory birds.

Besides those, there are some mysterious birds that can't fly very well in the sky: muscovy ducks and chickens. Muscovy ducks and chickens are on the grass around the pond in the walking park. In other words, they are on my walking course.

I love dogs, so when I see a dog during a walk, I just chase it! Yet, I have time to spare when no other dog comes for a walk. In such a case, I chase after a muscovy duck or a chicken.

I’m a fast runner so I should be able to easily catch up with it, but the dog lead I'm wearing gets in the way and I can't always catch up.

The rule says that dogs should be put on a dog lead there, so it can’t be helped. But this rule prevents me from actually catching one.

You can only see the back view of Ms. Merci. That's right. In this photo, you can see that a dog like Ms. Merci is running. It may be a body double because you can’t see Ms. Merci's lovely face. If Dad's camera skills improve, he can take a picture of a bird and my adorable face in the same frame. Then I'll show you again.

Ms. Merci is one step closer to a muscovy duck.

The muscovy duck seems to be better at flying than a chicken.
