文字数 1,935文字
In Ibaraki Prefecture, Mito City Forest Park has 14 dinosaur models, which is the largest, Yasaka Park(八坂公園) in Bando City has 4 models, which is the second largest, Komaki Itamine Park (小牧板峰公園) in Namegata City has 2 models, and Hikari to Kaze no Oka Park(光と風の丘公園) in Miho Village has 1 model.
I already introduced Yasaka Park in chapter 329.
In addition, in 2023, "Dinosaur Adventure Tour Tsukuba Forest Dinosaur Park" was held for six months near Tsukuba Kenkyugakuen Station. I introduced it in chapter 363.
I had been curious about the dinosaurs in Mito City Forest Park for a long time. Recently we found out that we can get there in a fairly short time using the Joban Expressway, so we jumped in the car.
In Mito City Forest Park, in addition to the Dinosaur Plaza, there is a farm where you can interact with goats and rabbits, and the “Mori no Chevre Hall (森のシェーブル館)”, which sells cheese and soft-serve ice cream.
① The locations of the dinosaurs are shown on the park guide board.
② We’ve arrived at Dinosaur Plaza.
③ This is a dimetrodon (8 meters long).
④ This is a seymria.
⑤ This is an edahosaurus.
⑥ This is also the edahosaurus.
⑦ This plateosaurus is the only one placed far away.
⑧This is the largest herbivorous dinosaur, diplodocus, with a body length of 28m and a height of 10m.
⑨ This is a brontosaurus.
⑩ I'm next to the brontosaurus.
⑪ This is a tyrannosaurus rex (body length: 12m), the strongest dinosaur to walk on the earth.
⑫ I'm not scared of it.
⑬ This is a stegosaurus.
⑭ This is a triceratops (body length 6m).
⑮ I'm wondering how many times bigger the triceratops' face is than mine.
⑯ This is an ankylosaurus.
⑰ The ankylosaurus also has a large face.
⑱ This is an allosaurus.
⑲ This is also the allosaurus.
⑳ This is a mammoth (body length 5m, mammal).
㉑ This is a trachodon.
㉒The last one is “Ibogon”, an original monster created by a second grader in elementary school in 1983.
