In this chapter, I’ll guide you on the return route from the South Area, through the Middle Area, North Area, and back to the parking lot. I’ll mainly introduce places other than stores.

In "Chapter 156, I play in a maze", I explained the English garden.

Two photos ①② of the South Area below show the cloister, which clearly show the influence of Spanish monastery architecture. This is no coincidence, so let me explain.

After Columbus discovered the Americas, the monastery became a testing ground for advanced technology, accepting new plants from the New World to plant in the courtyards and developing new recipes with the new plants.

The design of the courtyards of monasteries was also improved, and more cloisters were used. Unfortunately, Chihuahuas didn’t cross over from Mexico to Spain at that time.

After that, Spain's economy declined, and some monasteries were abandoned because they couldn’t be maintained.

When the world's economic center moved to the United States, some people bought abandoned convent buildings in Spain and moved them to Manhattan. Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights is home to a museum of European medieval art and architecture named “The Cloisters” managed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Pseudo-Spanish style gardens were created, and monasteries were relocated throughout the United States. For example, a monastery founded in Spain in 1411 was moved to Miami in 1925.

Outlet malls started in the United States. The designers of the outlet malls took inspiration from the nearby gardens of a relocated Spanish monastery. Thus, outlet malls inspired by American designs show the influence of Spanish monastery gardens.

Photos ③ and ④ are a combination of a white rose and a star, a red rose and a moon respectively.

Speaking of white roses and red roses, the “Wars of the Roses'' is famous, but neither the stars nor the moon appear in the “Wars of the Roses”.

So, I didn't understand the meaning of the star and the moon here.

① This is the lawn square in the South Area. I'm in a good mood with a Spanish-style landscape behind me.

② I'm walking with steps like I’m flamenco dancing.

③ a star-shaped white rose arrangement and me in the Middle Area

④ a moon-shaped red rose arrangement and me in the Middle Area

⑤ I’m by the pond in the North Area. You can see the parking lot on the left.
