Shikinosato Park (四季の里公園) in Moriya City (守谷市) is a 2 ha park completed in 1993.
We heard that the hydrangea flowers were blooming beautifully, so we went to see them. Not only the hydrangea flowers but also the iris flowers were stunning.
In this park, you can enjoy the following flowers in turn from February to June.
・Narcissus (about 7,500 stocks): late February to early March
・Ume (Plum) : late February to early March
・Cherry blossoms (Someiyoshino): late March - early April
・Yaezakura: mid-April to late April
・Azalea: mid-April to late April
・Iris (アヤメ) (about 7,800 stocks): early May to late May
・Japanese iris (カキツバタ) (approx. 4,200 stocks): mid-May to late June
・sweet flag (ショウブ)(about 31,000stocks, about 200 varieties): early June to late June
・Hydrangea (hundreds of stocks): mid-June to late June
This park seems to be the most popular one in Moriya City.

⑫ There is a small boat in the pond next to the watermill. The pond is shallow and small, so even a small boat cannot go anywhere. I don't think you can board this ship because it's just a decoration.
