(142) I go to Kasama Art Forest Park

We went to Kasama Art Forest Park.
Here, art means ceramic art and sculpture (ceramic art objects).

On the Kasama Craft Hills in the corner of the park, there is a giant kiln, a center plaza where you can eat, and a facility where you can experience pottery making.

This kiln is a large-scale pottery kiln that uses slopes. Air flows from the combustion chamber (kiln opening) at the bottom of the slope, which is called the "large mouth", to the upper combustion chamber. Once ignited, it keeps burning for 60 hours until it finally burns out.

In addition to Kasama Craft Hills, in the park, there are Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum, Ibaraki Prefectural Kasama Ceramic Art University, Event Plaza, Outdoor Concert Plaza, "Asobi no Mori" with a large outdoor playset, "Ceramic Forest" with finished ceramic products, and the roller skating ground named "Murasaki Park Kasama".

It's too wide to cover in a short period of time, so we've only seen about half of it in an hour.

Mom's real aim was Mont Blanc cake (chestnut cream cake) sold at a nearby roadside station, but Mont Blanc cake was sold out, so she could not have some.
Oh, please keep this a secret.

I’m standing in front of the big mouth of the kiln.

I’m taking a walk next to the kiln.

I’m walking in front of the cat sculpture.

This is an explanation of the sculpture in "Ceramic Forest".

This is a part of a leash that is made of chains. It is assumed that the guard dog has escaped, and the chain is broken. This chain is made of pottery.

I'm happy to have lunch on the terrace of the Center Plaza.

This is the entrance of the Center Plaza.
