（２９８） Ｃｈｅｒｒｙ ｂｌｏｓｓｏｍｓ ｉｎ Ｓａｎｕｍａ Ｐａｒｋ

Sanuma Regional Park (砂沼広域公園) is a park located in Shimotsuma City.
Sanuma is a reservoir with an area of 55 ha and has been selected as one of the top 100 reservoirs in Japan.
In the center of the pond is Sanuma Ohashi Bridge. The eastern end of the bridge is connected to the Kanoen garden (観桜苑) (including the aquatic plant zone), and the western end is connected to a sports facility. Although not connected by a bridge, there is a baseball field in the north bank of Sanuma. The park is 25ha in total for the three areas combined, and 80ha including the sand marsh.
In the west area, there used to be a pool called "Sanuma Sun Beach" (5.25ha) from 1979 to 2019, but now it is closed and the site is being reconsidered for a different use. There was a plan for a privately contracted outdoor complex, but on June 24, 2022, the host declined, and the plan was suspended.
Compared to the 12.8 ha (including a reservoir of 7.1 ha) of Ottonuma Park I often go to, the 20 ha of Doho Park, and the 32 ha of Kasumigaura Comprehensive Park, Sanuma Park is much larger.
This time, I’ll post some photos of Someiyoshino there.

③I am in front of the pond. Beyond the cherry blossoms is a sand marsh.
④I’m taking a walk by the sand swamp.
⑤ This is a photo of Sanuma and Sanuma Ohashi. The other side of the bridge is the site of Sanuma Sun Beach. You can see cherry blossoms on the opposite bank.
⑥ I continue my walk in Kanoen.
⑦ I found a big cherry tree.
⑧ There are many flowers on the big cherry tree.
⑨ I found some Otome Tsubaki.
⑩ I went all the way around Kanoen, so I ended up at the parking lot.
