In this chapter, I’ll introduce the smallest dog run on the hotel grounds in Nasu. This dog run is small, so it is only for small dogs, and large dogs can’t come inside.
I'm not too afraid of large dogs, so even if I meet a large dog at the park where I usually walk, I’ll bark loudly.
If I meet two large dogs, I’ll still bark bravely.
However, one time, when I met four large dogs at the usual park, I took a detour without making any noise and did not approach them. If I were to be surrounded by four dogs, I wouldn't be able to escape.
Thus, I'm rarely scared by big dogs, but it’s safer without them. Large dogs cannot enter this small dog run, so you can enjoy the dog run at your leisure.
This small dog run is right in front of the hotel restaurant. The floor of the dog run is covered with wood chips, so you can run around comfortably even after it rains. Also, there is good lighting, so it is bright here until 9 pm.
By the way, there is something in this small dog run that I was able to touch for the first time in my life.

It's a kennel. I have a "dog bed" made of cushions in our house, and I usually sleep on that bed at night. I brought this dog bed for this trip, so I slept in the dog bed as usual at the hotel.
If you go to a big pet store, they sell kennels. But at the big pet store, I ride in a dog cart, so I can see the kennels, but I can't touch nor smell them.
That's why I touched the kennel for the first time in my life. Though it wasn't as comfortable as my dog bed, the kennel seemed to be comfortable, so I really liked it.
