It's autumn, so the whole family decided to go hunting for autumn leaves. The family members are only Mom, Dad and me, though.
This autumn leaves hunt was along a valley called Ryuokyo in the Kinugawa River.
After getting out of the car at a parking lot, we took a walk on the mountain road.
When you take a walk on the mountain road and return to the parking lot, you need to cross the opposite bank where there is a bridge so that you do not follow the same road. For this reason, there are two types of walking routes: one-way 1km (round-trip 2km) and one-way 3km (round-trip 6km). I tried a one-way 1km course that seems to be a beginner's course.
However, even on the beginner's course, the mountain road was too steep for a Chihuahua, and in the end, I had to turn back on the way.
This is because the mountain road is repeatedly going up and down so that you can see the waterfalls on the opposite bank.
The 2km round trip is the distance to go around the pond in my usual walking park, so I had thought it was okay, but there was a big difference between the mountain road and the flat road ! ( ；∀；)

This is Ryuokyo. The waterfall you can see is Nijimi Waterfall. You can see Ryuo Shrine on the upper right of the waterfall.
