”Furusato no Mori (hometown forest ふるさとの森)" is a park in Tsuchiura City. I was fascinated by the name of the forest, but it turned out to be one of the shrine forests of Kashima Shrine, and it was not as large as expected.
However, in the forest, it is cool and comfortable. There is also a hydrangea garden.
Since it was early in the season, only a few hydrangeas were blooming.
In the park, we met an old man with a Shiba Inu.
Dad said, "My dog, Merci, barks at strangers."
The Shiba Inu, which was very friendly, approached me wagging its tail. But I barked as usual.
When Dad had an apologetic look on his face, the man looked at me and said, "You're a cutie." His face said, "I met an unusually cute dog today, so it must be a lucky day."
I've been told I'm cute, but this is the first time I've been called "a cutie", so I was a little confused.
