文字数 2,056文字

Mom is writing a Japanese + English cooking blog on “Novel Days”.

There are countless cooking books, so Mom thought it was necessary to add some unique features to the blog.
So, I decided to make a guest appearance on her blog.

Like” Toy Story”, it would be great if I could appear and cook, but it's impossible. Therefore, I decided to post some pictures with cookware.

Why not see “ms.merci ’s cooking class” for how to make tasty dishes?

It would be boring if I posted the same photos which I posted in “ms.merci's cooking class”, so in this diary, I'll give you some quiz on cookware. This time, the category is pots.

Please guess what the cooking pot in the picture is.

Answers:

① This is a Teflon-processed pot. Although it looks like an ordinary pot, the lid is heat-resistant glass, so you can see how well the food is cooked without opening the lid. The handle is removable.

② This is a stainless-steel frying pan. Since the handle is also made of metal, it’s an excellent product that can be transferred into an oven to continue cooking or keep warm.

③ This is a small pottery cocotte. It can also be heated in an oven. As a small clay pot, you can cook a pot dish for one person.

④ This is an iron ply pan called a skillet. It is enamel coated, so it doesn't burn. This can also be heated in the oven.

⑤ This is a small cast iron pot that is enamel coated to prevent burning. This can also be heated in an oven.
Due to its small size, it can be used not only as a pot but also as tableware.

⑥ This is a tagine pot used in Moroccan cuisine. Simply put, it is a type of steamer. It can be used with a gas stove or a microwave oven. You can use it as a steamer for Japanese vegetables.

⑦ This is a food processor. Food processors are very useful when making Genovese (basil sauce). Genovese is very delicious, so be sure to check out ”ms.merci ’s cooking class”. Please note that the standard recipe for Genovese uses raw garlic, so dogs cannot eat it.
