Matsushiro Park, adjacent to Ushiku Gakuen Street (National Route 408), is a famous wisteria spot with the largest wisteria trellis in Tsukuba City.

Recently, Dad noticed that there was a row of ginkgo trees next to the wisteria trellis, so we went to the park to see the autumn leaves of the ginkgo trees.

We found that there were beautiful ginkgo leaves.

The autumn leaves of metasequoias (Akebono cedar), plane trees (Platanus), and American sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua,モミジバフウ) are also beautiful.

Since there are so many beautiful autumn leaves, I’ll introduce the autumn leaves of ginkgos, plane trees, and metasequoias in this chapter and I’ll show you American sweetgums in the next chapter.
