(88) Ms. Merci’s running photos

文字数 1,300文字

Recently, Dad has been enthusiastic about taking running photos of me.

Running photos are a type of panning shots.
Normally, in panning shots, the photographer is standing still and only the dog moves around. But if you run together, the figure of the dog will not shake and only the background will flow. This is a method you can use to take pictures of your dog running in a dog run.

The way of the running photo Dad is using is different from the common panning shot. While holding my lead in his left hand, he holds a camera in his right hand and runs with me to take a panning photo.

This seems pretty difficult. Well, if you’re a professional photographer, you might blame Dad’s way.

Sometimes I run a little faster than I walk, sometimes I run at full speed.

Shooting is difficult because the camera settings don't automatically match my running speed. I’m an ultra small dog, so it takes about twice as many steps to run at the same speed as a medium-sized dog, and my legs are always busy and moving, so my photos are out of focus.

Still, it seems that Dad was able to take several running photos, so let me show you some.
