We went to Chikatsu Shrine on Feb.8 where I learned dogs were not allowed to enter on Setsubun, Feb.3rd.
On the day of Setsubun, many people go to Chikatsu Shrine to collect beans, so dogs are not allowed on this day.
I was wondering if there would be enough parking spaces as it would be very crowded on Setsubun.
When we went there, the parking lot was spacious, so I was convinced that it would be fine even if there were a lot of people.
I got out of the car at the parking lot at the entrance of the path approaching the shrine and took a walk, but the approach was steep and difficult for a Chihuahuas to walk.
Like Ashikaga Orihime Shrine, there is a parking lot at the same elevation as the precincts as well, so it seems better to use that parking lot next time.

②I began to walk cheerfully along the path approaching the shrine.
③I couldn't climb the approach because both the stairs and the side slopes were too steep.
④ I had Mom hold me, and when I climbed the stairs of the approach, I saw the worship hall of the shrine.
⑤I am in front of the chozu, where we wash our hands and rinse our mouth before praying. It says, "Do not water your dog with a ladle," so I'll skip the hand washing.
⑥ There are beautiful flowers blooming next to the water.
⑦I’m taking a walk in the precincts.
⑧I am in front of the worship hall. Although you can't see them in the photo, there are three shrines in the background: Sorei Jokonsha (祖霊浄魂社), Chikatsu Omikami Gohonden (千勝大神御本殿), and Yamanehikokami Gohonden (山根彦神御本殿).
⑨ There is an information board for Yamanehiko Gohonden, so we’ll go to the right.
⑩We’ve arrived in front of Yamanehiko Shrine.
⑪There is an artificial hill on the opposite side of Photo 10.
⑫We went around the precincts and returned to the parking lot. On the way back, I stopped in front of the stairs, so Mom held me again, and we drove home.
