文字数 1,021文字

Ushiku Daibutsu is a bronze statue of Buddha standing which was built in Ushiku City by Jodo Shinshu Higashi Hongan-ji Temple (浄土真宗東本願寺). It is 120 meters tall (6th tallest in the world). In 1995, it was registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest bronze statue in the world.

The Statue of Liberty is 46m, and the Great Buddha of Nara is 15m, so the Ushiku Daibutsu is unbelievably big.

It is located near the Ami Premium Outlets which I introduced in Chapter 128.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the garden of Ushiku Daibutsu, but are only allowed in the parking lot. But we still went to see Ushiku Daibutsu.

①We’ve arrived at the parking lot.

② I had a picture taken with Ushiku Daibutsu. It is too big, so you may not be able to see my face very well.

③Dad changed the angle and took a picture of us. You can finally see my face clearly.

④I’m taking a walk on a lawn square next to the parking lot.

⑤I’m barking at the dog walking on the lawn square.

⑥The Daibutsu is huge and can be seen from everywhere.
