There are several city parks that are designated as “sports parks”.

Sports parks are designed for people to exercise, and dogs are not allowed in the areas where people exercise, so they are not dog friendly.

When we go to a sports park, Dad first check to see if there are dog-friendly areas such as ponds or fields.

Looking at the map, Ushiku Sports Park has a large pond in the wetland and a small pond in front of the gym. Both ponds appear to have been designed as flood control ponds. So, we went there.

There were many nice walking paths in the park, but the scenery around the two ponds was not as nice as I had expected.

In this chapter, photos taken in 2022 and 2023 are mixed. In the 2023 photos, I’m wearing a neck cooler.
