（０２）　Ｍｙ　９ｔｈ　ｂｉｒｔｈｄａｙ

I am wondering what to call myself in my diary. In fact, I will be 10 years old next birthday. The photo below was taken on my 9th birthday. If you are a human, ten years old is very young. But when it comes to dogs, it is quite old. Anyway, the way dogs age is called ”dog years”. That is to say, they grow old seven times faster than humans. That’s a nasty story, isn’t it?

I’m nine years old now, so I’m an old dog. But I'm still very young mentally. I don’t think I ‘m inferior to young dogs in wit and wisdom.

If I admit that I’m old, I seem to have given in to young dogs from the beginning. Well, I don't like it, so I'll call myself “Ms. Merci”, not “Grandma Merci”.

So, if you meet me on the street, please call me "Meru-chan" or "Ms. Merci". Never call me "Grandma Merci", OK?
