(451) Letters on the grass at Ruins

On January 26, 1949, an unexpected fire broke out at the Kondo Hall of Horyuji Temple in Nara Prefecture, causing severe damage to the murals. In response to this fire, January 26th has been designated as “Cultural Properties Fire Prevention Day.''

We heard that burning letters into the grass serves as a fire prevention drill at the Hirasawa Kanga Ruins in Tsukuba City, so we went to see it.

I wrote about the Hirasawa Kanga Ruins in chapter 209 and 372.
