Miyayama Furusato Fureai Park, next to the sunflower field in Chikusei City, has Akeno Agri Shop, Kannon Soba restaurant, Abe no Seimei Exhibition Hall, Miyayama Ishikura Ruins, Miyayama Kannon Hall, and Miyayama Kannon Kofun (ancient tombs).
"Abe no Seimei (安倍晴明 921-1005)" was an "Onmyoji (陰陽師)" in the Heian period who wielded political power by making full use of divination based on the "Yin-Yang Five Elements (陰陽五行)" and "magic (呪術)".

The details of Abe no Seimei's life are unknown, and there are many legends about his birth. "Seimei Biography「晴明伝記」'' and "Hokisho「簠簋抄（ほきしょう」" claim that Nekojima in Chikusei City is Seimei's birthplace. And his birthplace is now ”Seimeibashi Park”.
I felt like an onmyoji and took a walk through the historic site of Abe no Seimei in Miyayama Furusato Fureai Park.

Each of the two lanterns has Seimei's symbol, the five-pointed star (五芒星) called "Seimei Kikyo Seal (晴明桔梗印)."
