The plum trees in the park where I always take a walk have bloomed again this year.
I previously introduced plum blossoms in chapter 284 but let me introduce this year's plum blossoms as well.
It was warm at the end of last year, so we saw the first plum blossoms of the season at the end of December.
At the end of January this year, the earliest plum trees began to bloom.
In mid-February, the buds became larger, and one-third of the plum blossoms began to open.
In a normal year, when the flowering progresses to this point, the trees will reach full bloom and then the flowers will fall.
However, this year, just as the flowers began to bloom, the weather turned cold, and rain continued.
As a result, bud growth has stopped.
In other words, the plum blossoms have been divided into flowers that bloom in the first half of the season and flowers that bloom in the second half, with periods in between when the weather gets colder.
The flowering period has become longer, but since the peak of flowering has disappeared, Dad wasn't able to take good photos.
In this chapter, I'll introduce the first half of the flowering.
