In 2021, I introduced the cosmos of Doho Park in “Chapter 63: Cosmos flowers in Doho Park”.
In 2022, the cosmos in Doho Park were blooming beautifully, so let me introduce them.
By the way, when we went to Doho Park to see the cosmos, Dad found a big beautiful butterfly perched on a cosmos flower for the first time in his life.
Dad got so excited that he ignored me and started taking pictures of the butterfly.
In chapter 198 “Ms. Merci’s Pastorale", Dad fails to take a picture of a butterfly named Kuroageha. So today, he said, "This time I really want to take pictures of butterflies."
It was the first butterfly of this species he had ever seen, so he thought he might have made a great discovery.
The butterfly Dad found is called “Black-winged fritillary (Argynnis hyperbius ,ツマグロヒョウモン)”.
Until 1980, they were only found west of the Kinki region.
After that, they migrated north and settled in Tsukuba City in 2004. At present, they are the second most abundant butterfly in Tsukuba City after Yamato Corbicula.
So, this is not a big discovery. ( ;∀;)
