In 2022, I introduced the swans in Ottonuma (乙戸沼) Park in "Chapter 106 Ms. Merci and Swan Lake" and "Chapter 108 the Last Swan of the Year".
After the new year in 2023, when we went to Ottonuma park, there were many seagulls near the parking lot. If there are seagulls, there may also be swans.
The swans are usually the farthest from the main street on the opposite side of the Ottonuma parking lot. From the parking lot, it’s not possible to confirm whether there are swans in the back of Ottonuma or not.
Tsuchiura City has created a website for "Ottonuma Park Swan News." According to this website, 5 swans came for the first time on December 23, 2022.
So, we went to Ottonuma.
There were about 20 swans.
Seagulls are cool too, but they can't compete with swans in elegance.
