Lake Nojiri is famous for the excavation of the bones of Naumann Elephant.
We heard that there is a life-size statue of a Naumann elephant and its mother along the national highway, so we went to see them. Naumann Elephants are smaller than Asian Elephants.
Meeting them completes the schedule for this trip.
Now, we'll head home.
