"Now, the spacecraft ‘Merci Beaucoup’ will head to the lunar desert next to the quiet sea of the moon.
Captain Merci, are you ready? "
"I'm ready."
"10, 9, 8, 7 ..."
The countdown has begun.
Spacecraft “Merci Beaucoup” will launch soon.
Tension runs on Ms. Merci's face.
The rocket ignites and the spacecraft leaves the launch platform.
(The space trip after this is omitted.)

The spacecraft arrived slowly and safely in the desert of the moon.
Ms. Merci goes out of the spacecraft.
Wait! Something is strange.
There are some creatures that look like camels.
You can see the real sea in front of you.
Where am I now? It doesn't seem to be the quiet sea.
Apparently, the Spacecraft Navigation system misunderstood the destination.

The model of the nursery rhyme "Tsuki no Sabaku (moonlit desert)" is located in Onjuku-cho, Chiba Prefecture.

The song was written by Masao Kato and was composed by Suguru Sasaki.
Masao Kato wrote the lyrics in 1932, likening the sandy beach of the coast of Onjuku to a desert.

There are memorial statues on the shore of Onjuku, so we went there.
It is said that Masao Kato was born in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and the image of the coast of Yaitzu, where he used to play as a child, influenced the lyrics.

I will put the lyrics of the children's song "Tsuki no Sabaku (moonlit desert)" below.

Across a desert under the moon
Two camels were traveling
One with a gold saddle and another with silver
Two camels were going along

A silver jar was on the gold saddle, and a gold jar was on the silver saddle
Two jars were tied to each other with a string
A prince was on the first saddle, and a princess on the second saddle
They were dressed in matching white robes

Straight ahead on such a vast desert
No one knows where they were going
In the pale hazy moonlit night
The pair of camels were slowly

Traveling over the sand dunes
Traveling all in silence

The spacecraft is heading for the lunar desert next to the quiet sea.

I’m looking around the moon's desert with sleepy eyes.

You can see the memorial statues.

I’m leaving because the wind is getting stronger.

When I return to Earth, I cross the bridge. The building you can see in the back is the Tsuki no Sabaku Memorial Hall. I'm signaling, "Daddy, it's time to go home."
