（１０５）　Ｐｈｏｔｏｓ　ｏｆ　Ｍｓ．　Ｍｅｒｃｉ　ａｎｄ　Ｈｉｎａ　ｄｏｌｌｓ

In the pictures of the last chapter, to my regret, the faces of the Hina dolls and I were small.

Both the dolls and I have wonderful faces, so I decided to let Dad take some pictures of us two instead of three.

The first is pictures with Ohinasama and I. I liked her fan and played with her fan string.

Next is Odairisama and I. I liked his scepter and wanted to play with it, but Dad made a gloomy face. He seems to be worried that I would bite into the scepter and break it into pieces, much like the fan string.

I'm clever, so I immediately understood Dad's worries and stopped playing with it.

The original reading of "笏" is "kotsu", but it is read as "shak"
because it is reminiscent of "bone"(kotsu in Japanese).
No wonder I want to chew a scepter (because dogs like bones.)

It seems that the minister wrote the ceremony procedure on a piece of paper and stuck it on the back of the scepter so as not to forget it when he held the official affairs of the imperial court.

It seems that the scepter was like what a prompter is now.



First, I smell Ohinasama.


Then, I’m playing with her fan string.


I liked the fan string very much.


I’m sniffing Odairisama.


I gave up playing with his scepter.
