On July 1, 2023, a market and light work department of the Type B Continuing Employment Support Facility "Ashitae-Lab" opened.
Type B Continuing Employment Support refers to a welfare service that provides employment to people with mental or intellectual disabilities who have difficulty finding jobs in general companies, and gives them a salary.
On September 13, 2023, the cafe Sorairo LOUNGE opened at Ashitae Lab.
In July 2024, dogs were allowed to dine on the terrace seats at Sorairo LOUNGE.
Recently, to my joy, dogs have been allowed to dine indoors with their owners. So, we went there.
The special dish there is the "Daily Salad Bowl Lunch" supervised by culinary expert Mizutani Keiko (水谷景子). You can choose from about ten different dressings as well.
Also, it is worth mentioning that on June 2, 2024, those who want to be witches gathered at the Sorairo LOUNGE to hold a witches' gathering (fortune telling, therapy, healing experiences, etc.). Sounds interesting!
① We’ve arrived at Ashitae Lab.
② When we opened the door, we found the shop where artworks, rice and vegetables are sold. Sorairo LOUNGE can be seen in the background on the left, but we'll take a quick look at the shop first.
③ This is "Tsukuho rice" grown by the social welfare corporation Chikuho Gakuen. Chikuho Gakuen is a facility that has been in existence since 1923.

⑩This seat has an unobstructed view, and I can see the faces of the customers in the cafe. I barked a lot, so Dad moved me to the other seat.
⑪ I’ve moved to the other side of the table. Now I feel more comfortable here.
⑫ I’ve finished my dog food before Dad’s lunch arrives.
⑬ These are a salad bowl and croffles. Croffles are a hybrid dessert of croissants and waffles from Korea. Oh, there's green onions on the salad bowl, so I can't eat the salad.
⑭ I can't eat onions, so I can't get salad from Dad. I'm being quiet.
⑮ I'm a little bored.
⑯ I'm very bored.
⑰ This is what a witch's meeting looks like.
