The comforting party and the celebration party went on for a while.
残念会とお祝いはしばらく続いた

Then, someone in my father’s group said,
それから、お父さんたちのグループの一人が言った

“Well, let’s be going to the Karaoke lounge.”
そろそろカラオケへ行こうか

and others said, “OK”
そして誰かがＯＫと言って

and we could hear the name ‘Marine Bottom’ in someone’s voices.
他の誰かがカラオケの深海と言った

Then they stood up from the table.
そして彼らは立ち上がった

And just the moment,
そしてちょうどそのとき

Devil said,
デビルは言った

“Now we’re gunna go to Karaoke.”
よし、カラオケだ！

and the sidekicks said, “OK”
それで子分がＯＫと言い

and we could hear the name ‘Marine Bottom’ in someone’s voices.
デビルたちのだれかも、深海と言った

Then they stood up from the table too.
それで彼らもテーブルから立ち上がった

And Devil said,
そのときデビルは、

“I’ll show my melodious voice to everybody tonight!”
今夜はおめえらに、俺の美声を披露するぜと言い

So the sidekicks hushed for a moment
それで子分たちは一瞬凍りついたが

but one of them paid compliments saying,
だれかがお世辞を言った

“Boss, you are a genius of the songs!”
ボスは歌の天才ですからね

Then Doc said,
それで茶トラ先生は言った

“Now, we must chase them!”
さあ、彼らを追跡だ

And we also stood up from the table.
それでぼくらもテーブルを立った

And we walked the night downtown chasing the two groups
それからぼくらは、二つのグループを追ってよるの街を歩いた

while I was wearing the red suit and Sombrero
ぼくは赤いスーツにソンブレロ

and Doc was wearing the traffic vest, the whistle strap around his neck, holding the emergency signal light in one hand and the large first-aid kit in the other.
