I looked at the mirror of the Machine
ぼくはマシンの鏡の見た

to find an old man.
そこには老人がいた

According to Doc’s theory,
茶トラ先生が言ったことが本当なら

I was sixty seven years old.
ぼくは５０歳歳を取って６７歳

Then I got out of the Machine.
そしてぼくはマシンから出た

Since Doc had set it to the afternoon,
茶トラ先生はタイムマシンの時刻を午後に設定していたから

it was still bright
まだ外は明るく

but the laboratory was no more than a ruin
だけど実験室は廃墟そのもので

that seemed it would collapse at any time.
いつ崩壊してもおかしくなかった

Then I went to the neglected garden
それからぼくは、荒れ果てた庭へ出た

where the trees and grass were overgrown.
そこでは木や草が伸び放題で

Looking at the scenery
そんな景色を見ていると

I was really at a loss.
ぼくは途方にくれた

I didn’t know what I should do.
どうしたらいいかわからなかった

Doc had been reduced to ashes…
茶トラ先生が骨に…

I was just standing there
ぼくはそこに立ち尽くした

and all I could do was cry.
ぼくには泣くことしかできなかった

Tears were rolling from my eyes.
涙がこぼれてきた

I stayed there and wept for a long while.
ぼくは長い間そこにいて、泣き続けた

Then I heard a voice of someone.
そしたら誰かがぼくを呼んだ
